CutAtlas Frequently asked questions

Questions about CutAtlas.

What CutAtlas builds, how each tool works inside Adobe Premiere Pro, what it costs, and where each product stands today.

01 About CutAtlas

The studio and its tools.

What is CutAtlas?

CutAtlas is a small independent studio in Poland building editorial infrastructure for professional video post-production — Adobe Premiere Pro plugins that automate repetitive, exacting work between the cut and the deliverable.

What products does CutAtlas make?

CutAtlas makes four tools that follow a Premiere Pro editor's work from the set onward: CutSync brings footage from set into Premiere Pro, CutCompose builds the first assembly, CutMap keeps the project legible during the edit, and CutBridge carries the finished cut downstream to color, online, and sound.

Do CutAtlas tools work inside Adobe Premiere Pro?

Yes. Every CutAtlas tool runs as a plugin inside Adobe Premiere Pro, taking over a task editors currently do by hand and staying out of the way the rest of the time.

02 CutBridge

Finishing-ready handoff.

What is CutBridge?

CutBridge is an Adobe Premiere Pro plugin that automates the handoff of a finished edit to post-production departments — color grading, online/conform, and audio post. See the CutBridge page.

Who is CutBridge for?

CutBridge is built for senior freelance editors and assistant editors, small post-production houses, and online/conform specialists — people who need reliable, finishing-ready exports.

What file formats does CutBridge export?

CutBridge generates FCP XML, AAF, and EDL interchange files — the formats that carry a timeline cleanly into DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, and other finishing tools — along with burn-in reference videos and a written manifest.

Does CutBridge support macOS and Windows?

CutBridge will support both macOS and Windows at release.

How does the CutBridge assistant work?

CutBridge includes a built-in assistant that guides you through each step of the handoff and explains what each downstream team needs, why a check failed, and what to send, directly inside the Premiere Pro panel.

Is my footage uploaded to the cloud?

No. Your projects and exports stay local. No footage or media is uploaded to the cloud.

How much does CutBridge cost?

Final CutBridge pricing will be announced after the beta. Joining the waitlist is free and carries no commitment.

Is CutBridge available yet?

CutBridge is currently in closed beta with a small group of users. The public waitlist is open for early access and updates.

03 CutMap

Visual versioning.

What is CutMap?

CutMap is an Adobe Premiere Pro plugin that shows your project as a visual map, organizing bins, sequences, and versions into a structure you can read at a glance. See the CutMap page.

Who is CutMap for?

CutMap is for editors working on projects long enough that the cuts and versions become hard to keep track of inside Premiere Pro's standard panels.

Which versions of Premiere Pro does CutMap support?

CutMap runs as a plugin inside Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 (version 25.5 and later) and 2026, on both macOS and Windows.

How much does CutMap cost?

CutMap is a one-time purchase with no subscription. The lifetime license is currently $9 as a limited launch price (regular price $29). See CutMap pricing.

Is there a free trial of CutMap?

Yes. CutMap has a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature and no credit card required.

How many devices does a CutMap license cover?

A CutMap lifetime license covers two seats, so you can use it on two devices.

Does the CutMap license include future updates?

Yes. The CutMap lifetime license includes all future updates to the plugin.

04 CutCompose

Automatic roughcut assembly.

What is CutCompose?

CutCompose is an upcoming CutAtlas tool that reads your script, storyboard, and footage and assembles a first roughcut inside your Premiere Pro project, processed entirely on your own machine. See the CutCompose page.

Is CutCompose available yet?

CutCompose is in development and not yet available.
